Eunice Seawright Youmans
October 25, 1920 - January 13, 2014
SAVANNAH - Eunice S. Youmans, age 93, died Monday, January 13, 2014.
The Savannah native was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and a retired school teacher with the Savannah Chatham County Public School System. Mrs. Youmans was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa, Professional Teacher's Sorority, and the Huntingdon Club.
Surviving are three sons, William Patrick Youmans of Merritt Island, FL, Carl Hansel Youmans of Canton, GA and Robert Lawton Youmans of Savannah; two daughters, Susan Youmans Willis of Decatur and Carolyn Elizabeth Thompson, of Savannah; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Lawton Youmans, Jr., her parents, Gen. Patrick and Carolyn Seawright and her two sisters, Patricia Watkins and Carolyn Brennan.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
